Camp report by a participant, 1 September 2018

Yesterday we successfully completed our Pre-season camp. With our coaches, Nathalie and Valery, we have discussed many important things. For example, how can you most successfully perform your kür and how you can make sure that you execute your jumps 10 out of 10 times flawlessly. We focus on positive, effective, responsible, open minded and cooperative training. Besides on-ice lessons we also got off-ice training like technique, physique, dance and theory. In the afternoon breaks we all sat down in the lounge and played together with lots of noise and laughter the cardgame werewolves while the coaches were half head shaking, half smiling at us watching. We closed the week with pizza. A nice reward after two whole weeks of hard and smart training. It was a very instructive camp in a friendly atmospere. We are now ready for the start of the season. The most important thing we have learned in this camp is that you, your parents and your coaches form a team together. A team that will always support you through your injuries, sorrows and loves…
