FSA Skaters Make Their Marks in Belgium
FSA’s advanced competitors sampled international competition last weekend when they travelled to Deurne, Belgium for the International Skating Union (ISU) sanctioned Rivierencup 2023.
The event was judged by panels of ISU experts drawn from across Europe and even Turkey. Team FSA collected valuable experience and posted several personal bests (PBs).
In the Advanced Novice A category, Ksenia bested her top scores in both the short program and overall while Elsbeth set a new PB in the free. They finished 10th and 17th, respectively, in a field of 22.
In Intermediate Novice A, Kaitlin, our guest member, debuted her new program choreographed by Coach Sylvia. She was 11th of 15.
The Basic Novice Girls A, Star topped the 22-person, 10 and under group. Taisia was 15th. Yuna was fourth of 29 skaters in the 10+ group, with a PB in her technical element score (TES).
Way to be, girls.
