The skating season might be finished at Jaap Eden, but our M and S series competitors are still going strong, participating in the Victorie Cup in Almaar, April 6. In the Mini category, Angelina Kortes, Rivka Roders and Valeriia Saratovska finished sixth, eighth and ninth, respectively. Silver and Gold for FSA in Dordrecht 

Our SPA (starters, pupillen, aspiranten) skaters were in action in Dordrecht, Sunday, March 10, for the Drechtstedenbokaal 2024, where they notched four podium finishes. Jasmijn Sijmons took home gold in Aspiranten 2A Girls. Aymie Woei was eighth, and Mila Liberov was ninth in the same category. Ana Bags a Bronze in Berlin

A trio of adventurous FSA young adult (aged 18-27) skaters went to Skate Berlin Adults competition, March 9-10, and came home with something extra in their luggage. Star Lights Up ABN AMRO’s New Branding Campaign

Team Scorekaarten at Marikenbokaal

FSA’s scorekaarten team went to the Triavium ice rink in Nijmegen on Saturday, March 2, for the Marikenbokaal 2024 and came home with gold. Zulhaj Rizki was first in the Aspiranten 1B division, while in Aspiranten 2B, Ashley Cheung and Anastasia Perventseva finished fifth and sixth, respectively. Bronze for Star at Dutch Nationals

Star Hoen won bronze in the Basic Novice Girls category at the Dutch National Championships, held concurrently with the Challenge Cup international competition in Tilburg, February 22-25. Star received the third highest score amongst Dutch entrants despite missing an element. She placed sixth in the Challenge Cup.  She was one of five FSA skaters who earned the right to compete at the Challenge Cup. A-Team Sets its Sights on Tilburg

Five skaters from FSA’s A Team head to the IJssportcentrum in Tilburg, February 22-25, for the International Challenge Cup. The culmination of the 2023-2024 competitive season, the Challenge Cup doubles as the Dutch National Championships. Final B Qualifier in Alkmaar

The third and final qualifier for the B-Series KNSB took place at ice rink De Meent in Alkmaar, February 11-12, with several FSA skaters earning places in next month’s final. In the Advanced Novice Women category, competition for the podium was tight, with 2.04 points separating the top five skaters and less than a quarter of a point between second and fourth. A Team’s Got Talent

Members of FSA’s A Team skated in the Ice Talent Trophy at the Sport Vlaanderen in Hasselt team, February 1-3. In the Basic Novice Girls Category, Taisia Usenko finished sixth in Group 2; Amelie Taube was 10th in Group 3, and Yuna Parcily placed seventh in Group 4.  In Advanced Novice Girls, Ksenia Usenko and Elsbeth Marck both skated in Group 2. FSA took home three podium finishes from the De IJsvogelbokaal Competition in Zoetermeer, February 3. Nelida Lievesley topped the field in Pupillen 1C.
